Cabrito was excellent, unlike other places this was truly cabrito and very delightful, melt in your mouth. Salsa were great along with the service. Great experience!
Enjoyed fresh and delicious shrimp tacos . Bean soup was amazing, I had two cups. Chips were freshly made. Staff is friendly and the waiter was wonderful. Open since 1966. Please come here for a good authentic Mexican meal.

1-30-25, My Mother’s Birthday and her request? Eat “Cabrito”. My Mother was extremely happy and satisfied with the Cabrito... how good is-was this restaurant? We bought the entire Cabrito. Huge thanks to “El Capi” and Oscar, outstanding service, attention to detail and customer support. If my Mom is happy, I am happy. Wife, Mother and I will definitely go back. Please give this place a try!
Service is exceptional, but waiter needs to explain better content of order. We were talked into ordering a parrillada instead of cabrito with explanation parrillada had cabrito just to discover it had a very very small portion, food was great but disappointed that barely ate any cabrito
FANTASTIC. We had just attended the convention center Halloween event and were hungry. I had a hankering to try some Cabrito, I call the El Pastor Grill which was super close to closing, but they told me if we were heading that way they would have a table for us. BEST DECISION EVER, the owner was so kind to describe the meals and as we had never been we took his recommendations and ran with it. The place is beautiful and the service was incredible, we didn’t feel rushed at all and had a beautiful meal that will be a memorable moment for years to come. Highly recommend. PS the flan and choco-flan were amazing, even the next day as we took it to go as we were stuffed.
The Cabrito and the Menudo soup were just "perfecto" definitely recommend this original place ... really good service!!
Great place to take your family, definitely some very good freshly cooked meats and food! I enjoy coming here a lot because the food is so good and the service is impeccable! I also enjoy having breakfast with coffee here as I stroll down 10th street on the weekends
